What is DHT?
Recent advances in medical science have identified the following reason as the major cause of hair loss in men:
Androgenetic Alopecia or "male pattern hair loss" causes 95% of hair loss instances and is genetic or hormonal in nature. Scientific research suggests that a hormonal byproduct, DHT (dihydrotestostrone), is responsible for this condition. The amount of DHT stored in the body directly correlates to the extent of hair follicle thinning and loss.

DHT is produced from the hormone testosterone with the help of an enzyme- 5-alpha reductase. A transient phase, catagen is lasts for only a few weeks. During this phase the hair starts to become thinner and hair follicles begin to shrink. DHT encourages hair follicle shrinkage thus preventing hair regrowth.
The final phase, telogen lasts for two to four months. During this phase the thinned hair falls out making way for new hair.
How to Use?
